Draft. These rules are being reviewed and may be updated before winners are chosen.
The Studio Halloween drawing contest (the "Contest") is run by Hemsley Herrick LLC, 5 Briscoe St., Unit 2, Beverly, MA ("we," "us"). By submitting a piece, you agree to these rules and to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Entering
- No purchase necessary. Open to anyone 13 or older (under 18 with a parent or guardian's permission). Void where prohibited.
- Draw your piece in the Studio at hemsley.us/studio and submit it with a title and your name. Your Instagram handle is optional, but it's how we'll reach you if you win.
- Up to 3 pieces per person. Pieces we turn down don't count toward the limit.
- The Contest ends Halloween, Oct 31 at 3 PM ET.
2. Your piece
Pieces must be your own work, drawn in the Studio. Every piece is reviewed before it appears in the gallery, and we may decline or remove any piece (for example, anything hateful, explicit, or about a real person). You keep ownership of your piece. By submitting, you let us show it in the gallery and share it on hemsley.us and our social media, credited to the name you gave.
3. Winners
When the Contest ends, the three approved pieces with the most likes win. Likes are one per browser per piece; likes that look automated or bought may be removed, and we may disqualify pieces that try to game them. On a tie, the piece submitted earlier ranks higher.
4. Prizes
Each winner gets a mystery item and a shoutout on Hemsley’s Instagram. Mystery items are clothing, valued from $40, in the winner's size, shipped free within the United States. We'll reach out through Instagram (or the contact you gave) within 7 days after the end; if a winner doesn't reply within 14 days, the next most liked piece may win instead.
5. General
We may change or end the Contest if it can't run as planned. These rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Questions: contact@hemsley.us.
