Who am I? 

 

My name is Joseph Herrick, and I am an 18-year-old artist from Salem, Massachusetts. I originated the name Hemsley from a friend when I was on vacation and the name stuck ever since. I said to myself

 

 “Hemsley had a nice flow to it, Hemsley Herrick…”

 

Ever since I was little, I have had an eye for art, but I didn’t really start taking it seriously until around 2021. One day after school, I found a 3x4’ canvas in my basement that was about to get thrown away. I then proceeded to find paint and make one of my many favorite pieces to this day, Maniac; This piece was where I realized how far I can go with this art thing. Maniac ended up being sold to the rapper Skrilla years later.
